I am thrilled to announce that I am finally a licensed naturopathic doctor in the state of Massachusetts! Many of you know that Massachusetts passed a bill allowing for the licensure of my profession back in January of 2017. At the time I did not expect that we’d have to wait until 2022 to actually apply for the license. But, good things come to those who wait. With my new license in hand I am able to offer my Massachusetts patients additional services.
While I currently have no plans to re-open a second office location in Massachusetts, I will continue to see patients throughout the Bay State via telehealth. With the new licensure law in effect, I will be able to order laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging for my Massachusetts patients, without the need to drive up to my office in Vermont. The new law also opens the door to insurance coverage, although at this time ND’s are not covered by most Massachusetts health insurances.
