Telemedicine

In my last post I wrote about COVID-19 preparedness.   The next question, of course, is what you can do if you contract the disease.

While the majority of people who get Coronavirus will have a mild to moderate illness and recover fully, for some people the disease can be dangerous.  If you do come down with respiratory symptoms, and you are concerned about what to do, I encourage you to set up a telemedicine consultThis will allow me to asses your situation, give you advice on natural remedies, and advise you on the need to go to the hospital.
What is Telemedicine?

Telemedicine is a medical consult done remotely through secure video conferencing or via phone.  Many people enjoy the convenience of telemedicine appointments.  These appointments also allow you to receive medical care without exposing others in the clinic to contagious diseases such as COVID-19.
Will My Insurance Cover Telemedicine?

If you are able to use your health insurance to cover office visits at my clinic, you should have coverage for telemedicine services.  Please check with your insurance provider if you have questions.  If you are not using your insurance, the fees for telemedicine are the same as for office visits.

Scheduling

Scheduling a telemedicine appointment is easy!  Click here schedule as you would an in person office visit.  Scroll to the bottom of the scheduling options to find the telemedicine appointments.
Here’s to you and your health!
